      School starts next week for most kids, but that doesn't mean that we're no longer treated to cries of "I'm booorrrrreeedd" from kids for whom summer may have gone on just a little bit too long. And unfortunately, most summer camps and such are long over. Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve in Rochester is offering a last-chance summer camp combining all the most fun activities from their summer-long programming.       Nights are getting chillier, but that doesn't mean you can't make the most of what summer evenings remain. The Park-It program and the City of Farmington Hills are partnering for a free "Splash Bash" the bid adieu to a lovely summer. Visitors can enjoy the splash pad at Heritage Park, trail hikes, and tours of the Nature Center, and Park-It is bringing a bouncer, games and more. Dinner will be available or purchase from Yesterday's Coney Island.       Delicious peaches provide an excuse to party at the Romeo Peach Festival this Labor Day weekend. Events include an airplane fly-in, parade, car show and carnival rides.       Overrunning the streets of Royal Oak, the annual Labor Day funfest Arts, Beats and Eats is an almost overwhelming mix of food booths, kid's activities, and music. The "beats" this year include Bret Michaels at 10:15 pm Saturday and the Psychedelic Furs at 6 p.m. Monday; the "eats" include booths from over 70 restaurants and the "arts" in a juried art fair.       Pssst...here's a little secret: Ohio kids are back in school already. That means we Michiganders can enjoy a lot more elbow room at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky.
