Home to more than 11,000 ocean animals representing nearly 500 species, the Aquarium of the Pacific celebrates the planet's largest and most diverse body of water: the Pacific Ocean. This world-class aquarium features a wide array of hands-on activities, live and video presentations, and much more. Also check out BP's Sea Otter Exhibit, modeled after their natural habitat and meet the otters! Visit the Molina Animal Care Center to watch the animals as they are cared for. The Aquarium's latest exhibit is called Polar Regions in Peril, an interactive, immersive multimedia experience that takes visitors to the Arctic and Antarctic to learn about the animals and people that depend on these fascinating and fragile areas of the world. Visitors will have the opportunity to touch sea jellies, view king crabs and meet a live Arctic fox. They will also learn how climate change puts this area at risk and why it is important to try to conserve these regions.
